Bravo Teas & Herbs, Inc. is a family owned business based out of Chicago IL. They manufacture their teas based on recipes that have existed in traditional Chinese Herbal medicine for centuries. As a result they are able to provide their customers not only with delicious teas but teas that have effective and powerful healing powers.
Problem
Bravo Teas and Herbs Inc. came to us looking for a standout brand of their new company launch. They have a successful tea line in the international Asian market and they wanted to expand a new product line into the US market which included a focus on the hispanic culture.
Solution
We provided a branding presence that could stand the test of time and yet feel modern and appropriate for the target audience. There were two main factors that were important, maintaining the traditional Chinese background of the products and have the logo reflect the herbal aspect of the teas. After our preliminary design study we finalized three main components of the logo: color, Chinese symbolism, and herbal illustration. Once the logo was finalized we had our jumping off point to design the rest of the brand. The next step was product packaging.
In designing the packaging it was important to our client that we show the individual healing power of the herbs used in the teas. Since each tea has its own individual formula we decided on showcasing each formula’s unique herb. Furthering that idea we chose to give each formula its own color to show its uniqueness as well as have it be easily recognizable on the shelf by a customer who frequents that particular tea.
Babilon Arts, Inc. also created a WordPress website with a shopping cart for BravoTea.com. The site was a simple design maintaining the look of their new branding.
Other collateral pieces were created for Bravo Tea including a sales sheet and a trifold brochure.
